Making the move forward

I’ve got exciting news to share with you – the start of October sees me taking my first steps towards my new career. It’s been in the planning a long time – at least 10 years all told, but it took a while to learn, develop and practice the new skills I knew I’d need. I also feel like all the pieces finally fell into place during 2020. It’s been an odd year, but it’s been so transformative for me, and I’m grateful for the experience.

I have wanted to serve other people much more for a long time, and I have been looking for ways to help people. I have combined this with the fact that I long experienced severe anxiety throughout my life, although this wasn’t diagnosed until my early thirties when I had periods of not being able to think straight, interspersed with thoughts of wanting to jump off tall buildings.

I’m a jot-joiner and problem solver, and I have applied this thinking to my new career
