How does hypnotherapy work?

Hypnotherapy, sometimes referred to as guided hypnosis, is a process in which you are able to reach a heightened state of consciousness or mindfulness. This is achieved through relaxation and focused concentration.
However, before we begin any hypnotherapy, we will first discuss the challenges that you’re facing or the outcomes you’re hoping to achieve, in a consultation setting. As your therapist, I’ll lead you through an exploration of what you believe needs to change, what that might look like and how that might be manifested.
Using this insight, we will begin the hypnotherapy sessions, where you are guided safely and comfortably into a trance-like state. Once you are in this highly suggestible state of mind, I can begin repeating powerful affirmations that align with your personal goals. 
By ‘suggesting’ these sentiments to you while your mind is relaxed and open, the message takes hold deeply in your mind and remains when you are guided back to full wakefulness. 
I am currently delivering hypnotherapy online, supplemented by a professional recording of the session which you can reflect on, reaffirming your message with yourself in your own time.
